12 Real Techniques brushes

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I was able to get my hands on a couple more Real Techniques brushes and just had to post about them after getting plenty of use already. I'd been eyeing up the Powder Brush for so long and finally decided to bite and bullet and buy it as my old powder brush had certainly seen its last days and desperately needed replaced. This brush is huge but is still the perfect size for applying powder all over your face after foundation, and the curved shape of the brush also means that you can concentrate the powder on certain areas if need be. This is a must for me as I generally have dry skin but with a very oily t-zone which means that powder top-ups are a necessity during the day. The other brush that I went for was the Shading Brush which has become my go-to eye brush for my everyday makeup. It's a great size for picking up and applying a good amount of eyeshadow, and has also been fab for blending the shadows if I want to go for a more smoky look which makes it a great all-round brush in my eyes (unintended pun ha). You can find both brushes in Boots, with the Powder Brush costing £12.99 and the Shading Brush coming in at £7.99. Have you tried either of these brushes?

  7. On first sight I thought this was the buffing brush. How does the eye shading brush compare to the 239 from MAC?

  11. I love Real Techniques brushes. It amazes me that they're such good quality but can be so cheap compared to other brands! I have a few and the core collection are my favourite!
